Held Design is a graphic design agency based in Kilkenny (a small but beautifully formed town, which many dispute is a city, in the south east of Ireland). The company is run by “Me” Helena Duggan and when I’m a little snowed under I get help from some talented freelancers.

I love to make things and gets hands on with my designs. Although the allure of the computer is strong in graphic design, I’ve never forgotten the paper and pen and have so many notebooks I tend to lose track of which one I’ve written what in. I’ve built my work around it’s difference and have a portfolio which is unique, quirky and of course corporate when the need occurs. I work with the client to create something which reflects them and their business, while standing out from the others in their field.

I find sometimes people get confused by what I do, “Graphic design, what’s that?”. The simple answer is, “it’s everything” anything that can be designed, websites, brochures, advertisements, the list goes on and I cover them all…

So, please contact me if you have any queries or questions (I’ve noticed there is a repetition of “I” in these past paragraphs, excuse that please, it’s hard to write a piece about yourself without “I’s” and eyes of course).
